Home Care Services
Prior to home care commencing we will provide a free in home care services assessment on a no obligation basis. We will discuss and understand your home care needs in order to provide a “right fit” carer. We also will ensure carers are introduced to you for your approval before care commencement.
Our Home Care Services:
- Help with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing)
- Help with housekeeping
- Prepare meals and monitor dietary and nutritional needs
- Provide medication reminders
- Provide comfort and companionship
Our carer companions are well qualified, very supportive and understanding. They can provide you with increased freedom and independence, adding a pleasant enhancement to your lifestyle.
- Provide transportation to and from appointments
- Provide outings and excursions (e.g. shopping, seeing friends and family, social events)
- Help with walks and exercise programs
- Participation and encouragement with hobbies and activities.
- Gardening
- Assisting with correspondence, organising mail, maintaining diary/calendar
We also offer specialised home-based care for those requiring:
- Serious and non-serious injury support and rehabilitation
- Dementia care, etc
- Palliative support
- Respite relief
- Post-operative care and rehabilitation
- Support for patients with degenerative conditions
- Childcare (specialising in challenging behaviours)
We are proud to be providers to privately funded clients, and those funded by National Health Services (NHS).
Elderly Care Services
At Mercury we provide the extra elderly care help that enables you to continue living in the comfort of your own home.
With Mercury care Elderly Care Services, a rest home is not your only option.
We can:
- Assist the elderly at home

- Offer respite care, giving relatives a well-earned break.

Live-in-Care
Live in care can be an affordable alternative to moving into an assisted living facility or rest home, and is often suited to situations where family cannot be there in person and the client requires round-the-clock support.
Carers are provided with a daily rate, room and board for the duration of the position and will provide assistance in a variety of areas including: companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and assistance with shopping, escorting on outings, entertaining family and friends and organising appointments.
Live-in care offers:
- Full time care provided by one to two live-in carer(s) who, one at a time, live in the home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- A high degree of personalised support from a known and trusted caregiver
- Care when you require it, to fit around your routines and preferences rather than you fitting into a timetable set by a facility
- Help with personal care and household tasks
- Care, support and companionship
